Training and Clinical Orientation

 

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. I have experience working in various settings including schools, hospital, and outpatient clinics where I treated various issues as well as consulted and coordinated with teachers, school staff, and other medical professionals.

 

I utilize various modalities in my practice including TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), somatic approaches, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

 

I completed post-graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and post-graduate training at the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I utilize this experience and training heavily in my work with patients.

I continue to provide clinical  supervision to other therapists at Bhava Therapy Group in Manhattan and see clients in my private practice.
